Installing underglow will have a minimal load on vehicle’s electrical system, as it requires 12 volts at 10 watts. When installed we will hard tap to an ignition source so there aren’t any parasitic draws to your vehicles battery when turned off.
Car underglow can be installed on most types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs. It’s important to ensure that the vehicle’s underbody is clear of any obstacles that could interfere with the installation. Also vehicles that are lowered increases the chances of damage to underglow. Be very mindful when driving over rough road conditions, sidewalks, ramps and driveways as LED strips can be easily damaged if scraped.
